the division was engaged in the Operation Margarethe (German occupation of Hungary)

and the central portion was refurbished post war

though it definitely does show some wear

There are a couple a ages signs but nothing bad

This is a very good condition genuine WWII U. S. Army M4 Carbine bayonet fighting knife, with an original M8A1 scabbard. Nicely marked U. S. M4 CAMILLUS on the blade side of the hand guard. The guard is the narrow version and not the post war wide version. The blade is in good condition, showing faithful use, and sharpening after arsenal.
